The evaluated areas are:

• Risk Management Self Assessment

Your organisation must strive to prevent incidents, as well as be prepared to handle them if they occur. Business continuity planning (BCP) is a thorough and systematic risk analysis of business interruption. It identifies risk areas, creates solutions, implements improvements, performs acceptance tests and maintenance of the BCP.
The outcome of the analysis should include a contingency and an emergency plan. Contingency Plan shows specific solutions for different risks e.g. machine or tool break-down, media supply interruption, fire, flooding, storm, snow. See IATF16949. Emergency Plan shows the short term actions and planning to take care of accidents and personal injuries

This risk management self assessment is divided in:
I. Emergency Planning
II. Business Continuity Planning
III. Tools, fixtures, equipments and machines
IV. Logistics
V. IS/IT Security
VI. Security
VII. Insurance coverage

The aim of the risk self assessment is to have a better understanding of your organisation’s way of handling an adverse situation to rapidly establish the new normal situation.

• Corporate Social Responsibility Self Assessment

Your organisation must secure that human rights are not violated within your own global organisation and also inform your suppliers and customers of their company’s social responsibility.
Scania demands its suppliers to follow the United Nations Global Compact, concerning human rights, labour relations, environment and anti-corruption.
