Scania’s definitions of campaigns and actions:

(i) “Recall/Safety Campaign” means actions that Scania is obliged to take and the Scania distributor(s) is obliged to implement in order to recall Goods for reasons of traffic safety, operational safety, legal requirements and/or environmental requirements. The aim is to agree on such actions however, Scania shall be entitled to make the decision alone.

(ii) “Technical Campaign” means actions that Scania takes and the Scania distributor(s) is obliged to implement in the event of risk for vehicle off road “VOR” (unplanned roadside stop) for the Scania customer (although Scania is not obliged to recall Goods under a Recall Campaign) or in the event of cost-intensive or time consuming repairs for Scania or Scania´s customers, following, where practically possible, consultation with the Supplier.

(iii) “Recommended Action” means other actions than actions under a Recall- or Technical Campaign that are recommended by Scania to be implemented by the Scania distributor(s) in cases of Serial Defects, following the prior agreement of the Supplier.
